The NIHR Programme Grants for Applied Research (PGfAR) programme and the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health is delighted to be partnering to offer significant funding to address some of the most challenging issues in paediatrics. The funding opportunity extends beyond health research and includes wider aspects of child wellbeing, including social care and education. This Programme Development Grants scheme will open on 22 November.
The new NIHR PDG call shows dedication to address critical gaps in research capacity and capabilities as well as acknowledging the importance of investing into the needs of children and young people.
